Undertakings for Collective Investments (UCI)

Undertakings for Collective Investments (UCI) are investment funds that are not subject to the UCITS directive. These can invest in financial assets,that are not seen as securities. The relevant legal framework is provided by the Luxembourg Law of 17th December 2010, Part II, under which UCI are regulated. Furthermore, UCI are subject to the AIFM directive.
